This page works the meeting-timeline checkpoints: DINC 1 — Annual / Triennial compliance, DINC 2 — Initial Evaluation >60 days after Parent Consent, and DINC 3 — Initial Evaluation after the 3rd birthday. DINC 4 is a separate transition-compliance checkpoint; use DINC 4: Transition Regulation Indicators. Preventive “Upcoming” populations are planning tools and are not themselves DINC findings.

Predefined Compliance Concerns / Overdues provides repeatable searches for upcoming, current-overdue, previously-overdue, Initial Evaluation, transition, and other concerns.
DINC 1 — Find Meetings That Are Overdue Now
- Open Search → Predefined Queries → Compliance Concerns / Overdues.
- Choose the option that matches the population:
- Overdue — broad current overdue view.
- Overdue Annual — current Annual Plan Reviews that are overdue.
- Overdue Evaluation — current reevaluation/triennial concerns.
- Overdue Initial Eval — Initial Evaluation timeline concerns.
- Run the search and Search to List.
- Sort/group the result by Case Manager, school, or another locally useful responsibility field.
- Work each record:
- Confirm whether the meeting truly has not occurred.
- Check for an open/unfinalized meeting.
- Confirm that the dates creating the overdue status are accurate.
- Identify the responsible staff member and next action.
Find Meetings Coming Due Soon
- Open Search → Predefined Queries → Compliance Concerns / Overdues.
- Run Upcoming Next Annual/Triennial or the corresponding Upcoming Annual / Upcoming Evaluation option available in SIRAS.
- Search to List.
- Sort/group by Case Manager, school, psychologist, SLP, or the locally useful responsibility field.
- Confirm every approaching meeting has an owner and enough lead time for scheduling/preparation.
| Meeting type | When SIRAS identifies it as Upcoming |
|---|---|
| Annual Plan Review | Due within 30 days of the date used for the search/list. |
| Triennial Reevaluation | Due within 75 days of the date used for the search/list. |
The list reflects dates currently stored in SIRAS. A completed meeting, corrected date, transfer, or staff assignment can change the result.
Find What Will Be Overdue As Of a Future Date
Use this when the question is “What must be completed by the end of the month?”, “What will be overdue before break?”, “What does the workload look like on Census Day?”, or “What remains by June 30?”
- Open the Query Builder / custom search area.
- Add Overdue Compliance Concerns.
- Select the concern you want to project, such as Upcoming, Upcoming/Overdue, Overdue Annual, or Overdue Evaluation.
- Enter the target as of date.
- Run the search and Search to List.
- Group by Case Manager, school, or responsible staff and identify meetings with no documented plan.
- Rerun the same projection as the target date approaches to measure progress.

The Query Builder allows an Overdue Compliance Concerns selection to be paired with an optional as-of date.

Choose the current Overdue Compliance Concerns option that matches the planning question; exact labels can change over time.
DINC 2 — Find Initial Evaluations Over 60 Days After Parent Consent
- Open Search → Predefined Queries → Compliance Concerns / Overdues.
- Select Init Eval > 60 days after Parent Consent (or the current equivalent label).
- Run the search and Search to List.
- Verify the Parent Consent Date, meeting status/date, and any applicable delay information.
- Use CALPADS 16.25 when the question is how the Initial Part B timeline appears in CALPADS.
- If the source dates or event history do not agree, use Data Monitoring Help.
DINC 3 — Find Initial Evaluations After the 3rd Birthday
- Open Search → Predefined Queries → Compliance Concerns / Overdues.
- Select Init Eval > 3rd birthday (or the current equivalent label).
- Run the search and Search to List.
- Review the referral/consent/meeting dates and Part C-to-B transition context for each student.
- If the dates or event sequence are unclear, use Data Monitoring Help before changing data.
DINC 1 — Find Previously Overdue Meetings
- Open Search → Predefined Queries → Compliance Concerns / Overdues.
- Select Previously Overdue Annual/Eval (or the current equivalent label).
- Run the search and Search to List.
- Confirm the actual meeting date and whether the event was reported as intended.
- Review supported delay information when applicable.
- Use Previously Overdue Meeting History for the SIRAS historical review and CALPADS 16.21 for the CALPADS report view.
| Checkpoint | Use |
|---|---|
| DINC 1 — Annual / Triennial | Use the current and previously-overdue meeting actions on this page; historical reconciliation continues in Previously Overdue Meetings. |
| DINC 2 — Initial Evaluation >60 days after Parent Consent | Use the DINC 2 quick action on this page and CALPADS 16.25 for the CALPADS-side view. |
| DINC 3 — Initial Evaluation after the 3rd birthday | Use the DINC 3 quick action on this page and Indicator 12 / DINC 3 for the related Part C-to-B review. |
| DINC 4 — Transition Regulation Indicators | Use DINC 4: Transition Regulation Indicators. DINC 4 is not a meeting-timeline search. |
Before treating the record as a true late meeting, compare the student's Previous Annual Review / Previous Evaluation dates with the verified meeting history. Missing or incorrect Previous dates can create a false-positive Previously Overdue result. If the meeting was timely and the historical Previous fields are wrong, use Show Me: Correct Previous Annual Review and Evaluation Dates.

Need a Different Compliance Population?
Use this when the predefined buttons do not answer the exact question.
- Open the Query Builder / Search Help.
- Add Overdue Compliance Concerns.
- Choose the current option that best matches the question.
- If needed, add an as of date or another criterion to narrow the population.
- Run the search and Search to List.
- Use Student List Help to sort/review records, or Statistical Reports Help when grouping/counting helps answer the question.

Predefined compliance lists provide additional repeatable work queues when a list better matches the question than a query.

| What you found | Next action |
|---|---|
| Upcoming meeting with a clear owner | Confirm scheduling/preparation and keep monitoring until complete. |
| Current overdue with no responsible staff | Assign/escalate responsibility before trying to solve the timeline. |
| Meeting occurred but remains open | Review open meetings and complete the appropriate finalization/reporting action. |
| Due date or meeting history appears wrong | Use Data Monitoring Help before correcting anything. |
| Previously overdue record needs historical/reporting review | Use Previously Overdue Meeting History. |
| Previously overdue result appears false because Previous Annual/Evaluation dates are missing or wrong | Verify the history, then use Show Me: Correct Previous Annual Review and Evaluation Dates. Rerun the original compliance view before continuing to historical delay reconciliation. |
