SIRAS IEP meeting event types vs CALPADS files
Initial Evaluation:
- Minimally can report establishment of new SWDS, MEET if no eligibility or eligible no plan
- Or can report SWDS, MEET, PLAN, and SERV if participating
Annual Plan Review
- Will report MEET and PLAN with plan agreement, otherwise MEET Only
Triennial Reevaluation
- Can report change of SWDS, MEET and PLAN/SERV if plan agreed to.
30 Day Review
- If done as plan adoption, only PLAN/SERV are reported with agreement, no files reported with stay put.
- If done as plan review, will report MEET, PLAN/SERV if plan agreed to. Stay put reports only MEET.
Other Review
- Will never report a MEET, always reported as new PLAN/SERV only if plan agreed to.
- This is why we can’t change eligibility in an Other Review, staff must choose Triennial meeting event type in IEP manager if Eligibility will be discussed.
