DRDP2025 is ready for beta testing entering DRDP ratings. See October 2026 SEDS News.
DRDP 101 For Admins!
- DRDP ratings for required must be transcribed into SIRAS twice a year, once for Fall and once for Spring.
- Optional DRDP are only for local review. Students turning 6 anytime during the year are not required.
- SEDS coordinators need to continually run the DRDP not started/incomplete button to ensure all required DRDP are reported.
- DRDP not started / incomplete are only required DRDP.
- When a student has an all unable to rate valid reason, we list them on the DRDP exceptions spreadsheet, and report these to SELPA.
- Download the DRDP Exceptions list - [Click Here] - Updated 8/2026
- Make sure staff are using Special Ed. DRDP 2015 forms for the current 2025-2026 Academic Year.
- New forms for DRDP will be available in Fall of 2026.

Workflow
The main task for SEDS coordinators is to run the DRDP not started or incomplete predefined query on a regular basis to make sure the district is on track for getting all DRDP ratings completed.
Click on DRDP Not Started OR Incomplete, this is our 'To Do' list we want this list to go to zero.
In general we want staff to finish transcribing DRDP ratings collected in the field 'before staff leave on break.'
That way we have time to run transcribed ratings in DRACCESSDATA.org to identify missing data or errors and have enough time to get those DRDP errors posted into SIRAS for staff to see those errors and correct them.
Remind staff to help resolve DRDP errors before they leave on break
For students who transferred in after the 4/1 or 11/1 deadline:
SEDS coordinators make sure to enter the district enrollment date that indicates the student started participating on IEP services after the cut off date. Once the district enrollment date is entered, that student will no longer appear in the DRDP required lists.
For students who were found eligible but didn't start participating (plan effective date) until after 4/1 or 11/1 deadline:
SEDS coordinators make sure to enter the district enrollment date that indicates the student started participating on IEP services after the cut off date. Once the district enrollment date is entered, that student will no longer appear in the DRDP required lists.
For students that matriculate from Infant to Preschool after Infant DRDP ratings were collected:
SEDS coordinator may need to use the 'grade override' to lock in the Infant Grades if SIRAS isn't automatically able to make that adjustment when the grade is updated. Use the 'edit' link next to the DRDP Type Title.

DRDP Errors
SIRAS will extract all DRDP ratings entered and run them thru the DRACCESS.org website to scan for errors.
Errors for DRDP are posted in the same links used for CALPADS IVR errors.
Any errors posted will be seen at the top of the MIS Summary page.
Typically errors are from missing information.
Remind provider staff to help you fill in the missing information.
When errors are fixed but there are lots of errors.
One can clear all the DRDP errors posted on the MIS page by using the 'Clear All' button.
That button can be found at the bottom of Error list above the MIS Summary page.
See screenshot below.

Historical DRDP ratings can be found in the Student History page.

Questions and Answers
How can DRDP Staff 'report' on DRDP data?
The data from SIRAS is automatically sent to https://www.draccessreports.org/.
Staff can login there to 'report' on their DRDP ratings.
When to use All Unable to Rate
There is really only one reason to use "Unable to Rate" and it is due to extended absence.
- This is used only when the child is absent from the program for such an extended period of time during the four to six weeks prior to submitting your DRDP data that you could not gather information to rate the measures.
- The following are NOT valid reasons to indicate Unable to Rate:
- Not having enough time or enough information
- The nature of a child’s disability or the severity of a child’s disability
- Then list this student's SSID on the DRDP Exception list for SELPA
HELP! My DRDP staff say the DRDP ratings have been entered in and are complete but there are still errors!
- This is because they have completed the data entry after the last error run.
- But what if SIRAS hasn't run the errors again?
- Is the data entry date after the Error imported date? That confirms it.
- If you want the errors gone, and don't want to delete them individually, scroll to bottom of MIS error list and look for the 'Clear All' button.
HELP! My DRDP staff say the DRDP ratings are required but they started on IEP after the cutoff date of 4/1 or 11/1!
- When students are newly found eligible around the cut off date but don't start participating until after the cutoff date.
- What we need to do is enter the date the student started participation on IEP services into the District Enrollment Date.
- That way these newly found eligible records will not show up in the DRDP Required lists.
