The Transportation module is located under the Student Info > Special Ed Profile > Setting and Transportation.  The Transportation module will only be available for students who are in need of 'Special Transportation'.  The Yes/No option is available when the record is unlocked.  The 'Special Transportation' can be activated also by the IEP forms that concern specialized transportation (notably depending on the SELPA on the IEP 8 form, the Student Information form (Kern SELPAs) or the ESY Services Transportation Supplementary Supports form (Ventura SELPA).

  

 

 

Once the Transportation Module is open there are a variety of transportation data points that can be mapped from the forms; they are also search-able and list-able. 

The module can support Bus Service Request forms (BSR) which can also be accessed via the Non-IEP forms under the Tools menu > Document Library which can be custom made by the SELPA or individual districts.

 

 

The module supports the general school year or the Extended school year (ESY). 

 

The Transportation module also supports 'Special Requirements' for the general school year or Extended School Year. 

 

Under the Reporting menu > Student List > Predefined List - Data Monitoring tab / Transportation button.  This list will automatically generate a list of all the student who are in need of Special Transportation and display a list of all the data elements related from the Transportation module.  

This tool may be helpful to the district's transportation department.
