SST Tracker is the module root for Student Study Team work in SIRAS. Use it to organize SST meetings, intervention/follow-up work, forms, supporting information, and the team's next decision.
For the end-to-end screen workflow, use 10 Steps to Develop an SST Plan.
SST has its own workflow.
Do not apply the Special Education Current → IEP Pending Changes → archived SEDS transaction → CALPADS loop to SST. SST uses its own meeting, follow-up, decision, status, and module-transfer behavior.

SST Record Status
- Active: the student is in an active SST meeting/follow-up process.
- Inactive: the SST process is complete and no active follow-up is underway.
Starting a new SST meeting can make an SST record Active again.
What if an SST decision says “referred to 504” or “referred to Special Education”?
The destination module can be set to Pending for that referral. That Pending belongs to the destination designation, not to native SST status. See Pending in SIRAS.

The SST Decision Closes the Loop
| SST Decision | Result |
|---|---|
| Student Continues in General Ed — No Review | No SST follow-up is needed; SST status becomes Inactive. |
| Student Continues General Ed — Review/Intervention | A follow-up date is required and the SST record remains Active. |
| Referred for 504 Plan | The record moves temporarily to the 504 module with the destination 504 record Pending for referral review. |
| Referred for Special Education | The record moves temporarily to the Special Education module with the destination SPED record Pending for the IEP referral. |
