View Scope Dialog
This is on the far right of the screen below your Username and is very useful in switching scopes of the types of records you can see. Ex. Site admin vs case manager. Use View Individually assigned to see caseload vs school(s) only. Use the School Filter to change/filter your focus; step up or down to a district, school group or individual school.
Scope Options:
- Designation: IEP/504/SST
- Viewable District/School
- District Attending/DSEA/Residence
- View Next Year's Students (current)(incoming)(next year preview)
- Show Individually Assigned
Use the ? mark icons next to the fields for more information
Changing Scope:
The menus are heirarchical so if you go to view a specific school, one needs to go back to the district level to either switch to another school or to a different district or even back to the SELPA level.
When navigating the Viewable District/School menu, after going 'down' to a school you have to go back up to 'district' to find a different school.
Viewable District/School:
This is a menu option to allow the user to go back and forth in scope.
- If a staff person has School Admin or Site Wide access, this menu will allow you to switch between schools or school groups your account is assigned.
- If a staff person had District Admin or District Wide access, this menu will allow you to switch between individual schools, school groups, districts and district groups your account has been assigned.
View Next Year's Students
These three options toggle what records can be seen
- Current - Default, District Attending
- Incoming - Only shows students where District Attending is listed in Next Year's District
- Next Year's Preview - Shows both current and incoming at the same time.
Show Individually Assigned: This option only appears when SELPA/District or School user has specific students assigned. When shown, check the option to toggle between seeing whole SELPA/District/School list and individual caseloads. Click HERE for more information.
