Translation Request Procedure
- Compose an email to: [email protected]
- Subject line: Include the SSID followed by “Translation Request”
Example: 5555555555 Translation Request - In the body of the email, please include the following:
- Student SSID (no names)
- IEP Meeting Purpose Date
- Any assessment reports needing translation (include exact file names from the Upload Documents section)
- Language(s) for translation
- Quote turnaround: A quote is typically provided within 1 business day.
- Approval process: Please reply to the email indicating whether the quote is approved or not.
- Translation timeline: Upon approval, Spanish translations are generally completed within 5 business days; other languages completion dates may vary.
- Delivery of translation: SIRAS Translation Services will email the completed translation to you.
- Document access:
- Spanish translations are embedded directly in the SIRAS system.
- All other languages: PDFs of the translated documents will be available in that meeting’s Upload Documents tab.
- Invoicing: About the first week of every month, Next Level Services will send an invoice to the district summarizing all completed translations and their costs for the preceding month (e.g. the invoice sent in July will detail all of June's translations).
