How to find students that will be 16 by EOY 1 in 2026 that need tran reg set to N if still blank as of 10/1/2025 (Fall 1)
Fixing PLAN0390F1 - PLAN0397F1 Data Discrepancy Errors
- Build a list to review any records found
- Find records to review
Go to Predefined Lists/Compliance
- Click on DINC 4
This builds the list we want to use.
It also finds records already out of compliance that will need to be addressed separately.
After we build the list, do the following query and then sort by any of the tran reg to find the records with blank post secondary information that should roughly align with students generating data discrepancy
Next, search on:
- Click Reset Search
- Birthdate <= 6/30/2010
- Click search to list
- Sort by any of the Tran Reg to bring blanks to the top.
For those records where students will be 15 years old as of 10/1/2025 where the post secondary transition survey has yet to be done (currently blank).
CALPADS wants these records most recent PLAN as of 10/1 in CALPADS filled in with N by Fall 1 2025.
Otherwise if they are left blank in CALPADS, the same data discrepancy errors seen now will appear as certification errors in Fall 1 snapshots.
SIRAS will be working to auto populate the most recent PLAN transactions for 15yo as of 10/1 with blank answers to automatically be resent to CALPADS for your convenience. Records with valid post secondary transition question answers already filled out will not be overwritten.
