When doing proportionate share research in SIRAS related to Fiscal Year 2024-2025, Resource code 3310

Here are some important tips and clarifications.

Box A information, IEP count, needs to come from the Fall 1 2023-2024 SELPA approved 16.12 aggregate report in CALPADS.

Use the Fall 1 2023-2024 SELPA Approved 16.12 report.

Only include ages 3 thru 21

Use the plan type 100 number.

Box B information, the active ISP and inactive non participating private school counts need to come from two sources, CALPADS for AY 2023-2024 and your SEDS system for AY 2021-2022 and AY 2022-2023.

The active ISP plan type count and non participation counts during AY 2023-2024 should come from CALPADS

Find those numbers by running the EOY 4 2023-2024 SELPA approved 16.14 report.

Then CDE is suggesting that districts use their SEDS system to find students where their non participation status was set during the previous AY 2021-2022 and AY 2022-2023

Using the Private School Follow up button in SIRAS, you will find non participation students going back to 2021-2022

It is up to the district to get the information out from this report where the 2023-2024 is excluded.

This is easily done by exporting the data from SIRAS into Excel.

Then remove all records with inactive dates >= 7/1/2023

Then the left over records are the counts per year.
