How much does using the 504 side of SIRAS cost?

Using the 504 side of SIRAS is included with the base cost of SIRAS.

If your district wants to integrate your SIS with SIRAS, we charge a set up fee to get that integration activated. It will require programming a custom import on your SIS side.

 

How do 504 students get reported to CALPADS?

504 is indicated by the code of 101 in the Program file sent to CALPADS by your SIS.

 

What needs to happen if a student is found eligible for 504 in SIRAS?

We need to ensure that this students program file gets updated accordingly in your SIS.

 

What needs to happen if a student exits out of 504 in SIRAS?

We need to ensure that this students program file gets updated accordingly in your SIS.

 

How do we update the program file for 504 students in our SIS?

If your SIS has 504 integration with SIRAS, your SIS should be automatically updated but you will want to veriy.

If your SIS does not have 504 integration with SIRAS, this will have to be manually updated in your SIS.

 

Is it possible to have our SIS tell SIRAS a student record is being referred for 504 so a new record is created (or existing record transferred) in our district?

Yes this is possible once SIRAS and your SIS have a completed 504 integration setup.
