[Providers] [SEDS Coordinators]
DRDP 101!
- DRDP ratings must be transcribed into SIRAS twice a year, once for Fall and once for Spring
- SEDS coordinators need to continually run the DRDP not started/incomplete button to ensure all required DRDP are reported.
SEDS Coordinators need to keep track of what due dates are related to the current DRDP reporting Cycle.
If DRDP staff want to 'report' on their DRDP, the data from SIRAS is automatically sent to https://www.draccessreports.org/
DRDP staff need to get a login there to run these longitudinal reports they are looking for.

For students who transferred in after the 4/1 or 11/1 deadline:
SEDS coordinators make sure to enter the district enrollment date that indicates the student started participating on IEP services after the cut off date. Once the district enrollment date is entered, that student will no longer appear in the DRDP required lists.
In general we want staff to finish transcribing DRDP ratings collected in the field 'before staff leave on break.'
That way we have time to run transcribed ratings in DRACCESSDATA.org to identify missing data or errors and have enough time to get those DRDP errors posted into SIRAS for staff to see those errors and correct them.
The main task for SEDS coordinators is to run the DRDP not started or incomplete predefined query on a regular basis to make sure the district is on track for getting all DRDP ratings completed.
When to use Unable to Rate:
In general when there is an extended absence.
- This is used only when the child is absent from the program for such an extended period of time during the four to six weeks prior to submitting your DRDP data that you could not gather information to rate the measures.
- The following are NOT valid reasons to indicate Unable to Rate:
- Not having enough time or enough information
- The nature of a child’s disability or the severity of a child’s disability
For students that matriculate from Infant to Preschool after Infant DRDP ratings were collected:
SEDS coordinator may need to use the 'grade override' to lock in the Infant Grades if SIRAS isn't automatically able to make that adjustment when the grade is updated. Use the 'edit' link next to the DRDP Type Title
Historical DRDP ratings can be found in the Student History page.
