This affects both Part B or Part C to B Initial Evaluation types.

In this example we have a part B initial Evaluation that happened on 9/10/2024 but the child won't turn 3 until 10/6/2024 but the IEP team has confirmed with enrollment office student will officially begin participating on 10/8/2024.

Not participating status as of 10/2/2024 is accurate when we are planning for participation that begins after 10/2/2024.

The inactive status in SIRAS reflects the status that the student isn't participating yet.

Once the student starts participating the record can have the active status set to active in SIRAS.
This corresponds to SIRAS now sending a SWDS 1 status as of the plan effective date.

At this point the District Enrollment date can already have the anticipated date, or it can be entered upon confirmation of participation.

going to be blank as participation hasn't started yet.

We must confirm that the SWDS 2 record has been reported successfully to CALPADS before the Update and Report button is clicked here!
