System Event Calendar

This page is the date authority for scheduled SIRAS system events, including SIS import pauses, rollover windows, Production-to-Training refreshes, DRDP archiving, ESY resets, and academic-year query changes.

For the recurring work administrators should anticipate around these events, use the SEDS Coordinator Annual Planning Guide.

Last reviewed: August 4, 2026
Dates marked Confirmed have been announced for the current cycle. Dates marked Recurring window describe the usual annual timing and should not be treated as an exact appointment until a date is posted.
SELPA rollover dates are maintained separately.
Rollover occurs for each SELPA on an agreed date within the annual rollover window. Use the SELPA Rollover Schedule for the exact SELPA-specific date and completion status.

Need an exact date that is still shown as a window?
This article should be updated when SIRAS confirms the date. Until then, do not schedule training or local cutover work around an approximate window without confirming with SIRAS Support.

Recurring Annual Cycle

Important: July 1 does not immediately change every academic-year search.
Academic-year predefined queries and statistical reports do not all change on July 1. Some compliance-related searches continue using the prior academic year through approximately August 1, then begin using the new year and upcoming Fall 1 reference date.

What Each Event Changes

Event What changes What staff should know
SIS import pause Automated incoming SIS data stops temporarily. SIRAS exports remain available. Coordinate urgent import exceptions with SIRAS.
SELPA rollover Grades advance and applicable Next Year's Data becomes Current data. Complete preparation before the SELPA's scheduled date and use the post-rollover guides afterward.
Production-to-Training copy The Training database is replaced with a newer copy of Production. Training-only users, demonstration records, and practice changes may be overwritten. Production data does not move from Training into Production as part of this refresh.
DRDP archive The completed DRDP period becomes historical and the next rating period becomes available. Complete ratings and error review before the archive window.
ESY Enrolled reset ESY Enrolled is cleared for all student records. Rebuild ESY Enrolled each year as attendance is confirmed. ESY Eligible persists unless staff clear or change it.
Academic-year query update Some predefined queries and statistical reports begin using the new academic year or upcoming Fall 1 date. Review the date assumptions shown by a query before interpreting its results around July and August.
