Validating and Archiving a Record to CALPADS

The student record will need to be Validated before Archiving to CALPADS. Validating a record will scan the record for any CALPADS and non-CASEMIS errors. If there are either errors (red) or warnings (yellow), an explanation of the error will appear in a yellow box located in the upper right corner. Once the errors have been corrected and the warning has been reviewed, then archive the record to CALPADS.

     
 

A history of all the CALPADS archives for a record may be viewed by selecting the desired report date. To return to the Active record click the button View Current Student Record button.

 

Once a record is free of any errors (red) and if there is a CALPADS change to the CALPADS record that needs to be updated, click the Archive for reporting button.  Indicate the nature of the change, enter the event date, and then click the Archive and report to CALPADS button.
