Parent Withdraw from Special ed Procedure

Having a meeting with the parent about withdrawing the student from special ed is a good idea and the Other Review Meeting Purpose - Consider Exiting is designed for that purpose.

The parent will need to write a letter stating that she wants her child withdrawn from special ed.

The letter will need to be uploaded to the student record.

The Admin would need to the go to the MIS Summary Page, select the Active Status located in the upper right, enter Inactive Data; select 'Eligible (no longer Eligible); 'Parent withdraw..' for Non-Participation Reason.   Lastly 'Archive' the record.
