These terms describe permitted use of SIRAS Systems' HappyFox knowledge-base content and related SIRAS documentation.
These terms are intended to allow normal use of the documentation by SIRAS customers and their authorized staff while limiting unauthorized scraping, bulk republication, dataset creation, and automated reuse of the documentation outside that purpose.
Permitted Customer Use
SIRAS customers and authorized users may access and use this documentation for legitimate activities related to using, administering, supporting, learning, or troubleshooting SIRAS.
Permitted customer use includes:
- reading and navigating the documentation in a normal web browser;
- printing or saving reasonable portions for internal operational or training use;
- sharing links or reasonable excerpts with other authorized staff within the same customer organization when needed to use or support SIRAS;
- using ordinary browser functions, accessibility technology, and similar tools necessary to display or access the documentation; and
- using the documentation together with the customer's own SIRAS records and procedures for legitimate SIRAS support and administration.
No ownership rights in the documentation are transferred by these permitted uses.
Automated Collection and AI/ML Use
Except with prior written permission from SIRAS Systems, the documentation may not be collected or used through automated means for purposes outside normal authorized customer access.
Prohibited automated use includes, without limitation:
- scraping, crawling, harvesting, or bulk downloading the knowledge base or substantial portions of it;
- creating or maintaining a separate corpus, index, mirror, embedding store, vector database, or derivative dataset from the documentation;
- using the documentation to train, fine-tune, evaluate, ground, retrieve for, or otherwise supply content to an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model or automated information service;
- systematically extracting the documentation for automated summarization, republication, competitive analysis, or content generation; and
- circumventing technical or administrative measures intended to limit automated discovery, indexing, or collection.
Ordinary browser retrieval, assistive technology, and similar functionality used by an authorized customer solely to view and use SIRAS documentation are not intended to be prohibited by this section.
Redistribution and Derivative Copies
Without prior written permission from SIRAS Systems, users may not:
- republish or publicly redistribute substantial portions of the documentation;
- create a public mirror, substitute knowledge base, or competing documentation service from SIRAS content;
- sell, license, sublicense, or commercially distribute the documentation or a substantial derivative of it; or
- remove or obscure SIRAS Systems copyright, attribution, customer-use, or other proprietary notices from redistributed excerpts.
Reasonable internal excerpts used by a SIRAS customer for its own staff training, procedures, or support remain permitted under the customer-use section above.
Ownership and Notices
SIRAS Systems retains its rights in SIRAS-authored documentation, organization, instructional text, screenshots, diagrams, and other original materials, subject to any rights held by third parties in separately identified third-party materials.
Except for the limited customer uses described on this page, no license or right to reproduce, distribute, create derivative datasets from, or make automated use of the documentation is granted unless SIRAS Systems provides written permission.
Third-Party Resources
SIRAS documentation may link to or reproduce limited information from third-party resources, including government, standards, training, or vendor resources. Those third-party materials remain subject to the rights, terms, and requirements of their respective owners.
A SIRAS link to a third-party resource does not grant additional rights to copy, automate, redistribute, or reuse that third-party material.
Changes, Agreements, and Permission Requests
SIRAS Systems may revise its documentation and these documentation-use terms as products, services, support practices, and content-management needs change.
These documentation terms supplement applicable customer agreements and other written agreements with SIRAS Systems. If a signed agreement provides different rights or obligations for a particular customer, the signed agreement controls for that customer.
For permission to reuse SIRAS documentation outside the uses described here, or for questions about these terms, contact [email protected].
SIRAS customer documentation is provided for authorized use in connection with SIRAS. Rights not expressly granted here are reserved.
