Translation Request Procedure
- Compose an email to: steve@sirassystems.com
- Subject line: Include the SSID followed by “Translation Request”
Example: 5555555555 Translation Request - In the body of the email, please include the following:
- Student SSID
- IEP Meeting Purpose Date
- Any assessment reports needing translation (include exact file names from the Upload Documents section)
- Language(s) for translation
- Quote turnaround: A quote is typically provided within 1 business day.
- Approval process: Please reply to the email indicating whether the quote is approved or not.
- Translation timeline: Upon approval, translations are generally completed within 5 business days.
- Delivery of translation: SIRAS Translation Services will email the completed translation to you.
- Document access:
- Spanish translations are embedded directly in the SIRAS system.
- All other languages: PDFs of the translated documents will be available in that meeting’s Upload Documents tab.
- Invoicing: A few weeks after delivery, SIRAS Translation Services will send an invoice to the district summarizing all completed translations and their costs for that time period.
