PSTS: [find/edit][print/email][read/enter][report][error help]
PSTS answers do not need to be archived for reporting!
Don't send PSTS data until all survey answers have been completed.
The PSTS data file is sent to CALPADS in an all or nothing fashion, as in it sends all survey answers received so far.
It also will remove any previous PSTS records that have already submitted.
We suggest waiting until all PSTS records have had survey answers provided and 'PSTS data required/blank' list goes to zero records.
Note: SIRAS records that do not need survey answers will drop off that list when exit date / reason is fixed.
Once your district determines all answers have been completed.
Login to Siras
Go to /Reporting/CALPADS Reporting
Make sure you are Successfully authorized, if not click on ‘Connect to CALPADS API’
BEFORE clicking Generate Files, be sure to indicate the checkbox for ‘Include Post Secondary File’
When that checkmark is checked, then when you click Generate Files, the PSTS file will be included in what is sent to CALPADS.
Then click ‘Send Files’
If the PSTS file is rejected, refer to the PSTS Error Help Sheet
If it posts, you can verify the survey results directly in CALPADS.
