Student Assignments tab
This area will list and provide management for all Students that are assigned to a User, with a Provider Role.
Assigning students to the selected User:
- Click 'Add Student Assignment(s)' button
- Using the Quick Search if necessary, locate the Student Record to assign to the user
- You may select the Role to Assign before or after selecting the student
- Click the student's name to close the Choose Student and create the assignment.
Removing student assignments:
Simply click the red X mark under the right hand Action column.
How to assign many students at once:
1. FIRST select the role of the provider
2. In the 'Choose Student' list, click the checkbox located to the far right of the students you want to add to the selected user account. (hint, use the Search to obtain a found set.)
3. When completed selecting the students, scroll all the way up to the top of the list. Click the > button located at the very top of the checkboxes and select "Find Only Marked"
4. This will create a found set of all the selected records. At the top right hand corner will be a button after the "Find Only Marked" is selected "Assign all Found Students to: (user name)"
Additional functions on this page:
Select All, Clear Selection, Remove and Reassign: see above for how to mark multiple student assignments, or click Select All to choose all visible. The Remove or Reassign functions will apply to all those selected.
Click the Magnifiying glass icon to create a search query containing all of the records assigned to this user
Click Select Students to List to do the same, and navigate to the Student Lists.
Click Service List to do the same, but for a list containing Student Services.
