Student is Eligible and Participating

If a student record in SIRAS has the active status of Active, we assume the following things.

  1. The student is Enrolled.
  2. The student is Eligible.
  3. The student is Participating now.

 

The student is Eligible.

  • The active status in SIRAS is Active
  • The most recent SWDS status in CALPADS is 1

 

The student is Enrolled.

  • There is an enrollment record showing the student is enrolled at your district

 

The student is Participating now.

  • The most recent plan record in CALPADS is from your district and the plan effective date overlaps an open district enrollment.

 

In the example below we have a student record at new District A that just adopted the plan from

 

 

 

The most recent plan record in CALPADS overlap district enrollment and is from your district\

In this case you are from District A and have just adopted the plan upon newly enrolling.
