This represents a scenario where there was an initial evaluation followed by a plan review followed by another plan review followed by a few amendments.
The active status in SIRAS is Active which means we expect to see SWDS 1 Eligible and Participating in CALPADS
We see three rows of MEET records.
The bottom row is the initial evaluation meeting.
The middle row meeting is the first plan review.
The top row meeting is the second most recent plan review.
Next we see the PLAN records.
Since this student has been participating to this day since first starting services:
We minimally expect to see at least one plan effective date from each of the meetings.
Then we know there were 2 amendments from the first district before the student went to a second district which adopted the plan upon the enrollment date.
In SIRAS on the MIS Summary page we see 7 archives, 6 from the previous district, one new one from the current district.
Since the student is enrolled eligible and participating, the active status of active is in alignment with SWDS = 1 Eligible and Participating.
The student arrived at the new district on 8/15/2024 and presumably started participating on that same date.
So we would expect to see the plan adoption in alignment with this date.
Indeed we do see the first plan from the new district has a plan effective date in alignment with the date the student first arrived.
We can see the student switched schools. There is no need for plan adoption at same district but new school.
If the program setting changed by going to a different school, we would update the program setting on the MIS page and archive it as of the date that new program setting of that plan became effective. In the screenshot that would be 9/16/2024. But in this case the program setting did not change so no further PLAN records required.
